Ship Sails Styles & Also the Flying Dutchman

    So, I know that I am not the only one who must have thought of this, but I figured I would see if it has been bandied about already.

    Is there any word from the dev team about adding custom sail types? For instance, triangular sails?

    I am also curious if the dev team has plans to add folklore and legends from sailing history, like the Flying Dutchman, Davy Jones, Sirens, the Scylla, etc? I think it would be great if you could spawn a Flying Dutchman Man-0-War as a legendary quest of some sort.

    Wow, I wondered if I would come back to this game... I quit in the middle of last year after being so frustrated with the content. Things are definitely a lot better now. It's fun to play again!

    @captainkashus I'm always interested in more ship customization. I've nearly collected just about every piece of ship customization in the game so far! If they happened to add more, my feelings would NOT be hurt.

    As for summoning a Flying Dutchman Man O' War I'm not saying we're going to get exactly that kind of quest but keep in mind the "Tall Tales" (as it's being called) update is coming out ideally after Arena drops and will include a completely reworked quest system that will introduce much more of the lore into the game. It'll be an exciting update for sure!

    Even ships from the SoT lore could be cool.

    I'd love to see the Magpie's Wing sail the seas once more.

    We all know what happened to the Athena's Fortune, and that's at least something we can visit to have a look at, but the Magpie's Wing! The first ship to cross the Devil's Shroud! That'd be awesome.

    @captainkashus I want the flying Dutchman in the game and the devs did look at a concept for a ghost ship so it might be possible
