Hello friends,
I'm a new player, just bought most of the Forsaken Ashes set from Morrow's, only to discover that the weapons are, as far as I'm aware, unavailable. It appears they were limited-time items, will there be a re-release for new players at some point? It's really bothering me that I cant at least have the full on-character set, I don't care much for the ship to be completely honest.

@andreas5524 so just because I started playing the game late I cant ever have the complete Forsaken Ashes set? Then why tf are the clothes still out, it looks nasty having the set since there are no weapons that even somewhat match.
@andreas5524 I dont care if they do time limited cosmetics, but why did they make part of a permanently released set time limited? Why have it be the only incompletable set in the game? I bought the rest of the set assuming I could buy the weapons because every other set in the game followed that logic and now I find out I cant and never will be able to? Wut
They will probably come back at some point, but I can't see that being until after they start to close out support for this game and no longer have new expansions and bilge rat adventures being released. It may be possible to buy them from the store whenever they get that up and running?
I think the seasonal stuff (like the Festival of the Damned face paints or the gilded voyages) would reappear before any of the event specific stuff.
@covidro Keep playing, there's a steady flow of cool time-limited items and they come pretty regularly.
I predict there will be some items that RARE will find a way to re-release for new players to acquire.
At the same time, they wouldn't want to disenfranchise those players that have been diligently grinding since day one of release for these unique cosmetics and items. Those loyal to RARE and SOT been through some growing pains since the March release and with that should be some exclusivity in regards to items.
RARE has an extensive trove of unreleased items for the upcoming events. They won't disappoint.

@sipwrecked They did once mention the possibility of some of the event items returning with the premium shop that they pushed back.

I think that the ashen weapons should be available in the smith shop but not the ship customization. It makes scene to let players finish the set on their character but there should still be some ways to distinguish players, such as special ship customization but if they release half of the set for a limited time it only serves to annoy new players or players who were inactive during the event.

Yes, I too missed the time limited forsaken weapons. I was highly upset when I found out they were time limited, but in the most recent update, they brought back some forsaken ash ship cosmetics to the black market, which leads me to believe they will bring back the weapons too, just like they did with the deep ocean crawler set from a month or two ago. And if you want a sword that could go along with the clothes, think about getting the ashen dragon cutlass. :)
