Can't move head

    Very weird one last night.

    I was on my own on a sloop last night, doing some Gold Hoarders. I went to grab a chest in the water post-Kraken, and I lost the ability to look around. I could look up/down, but not left/right. I play on PC. Tried controller and mouse. Neither worked.

    I managed to swim back to my boat (slowly, and backwards) and once I hit the ladder, I could look left/right again. But every time I left the ship (whether by sword, jump, or cannon) and no matter if I landed on water or land, after a short while, I'd lose the ability to look around.

    I tried drowning, but I still couldn't look around in the ferry. I sailed back to base and somehow managed to sell a grogs, then quit the client. It was fine afterwards.

    But, some properly strange edge case triggered which was locking my ability to look around, and it was not cool. I've got no idea how you might replicate it - the only thing I can hope is that something shows in the log files?

    Hopefully the maintenance today will iron out some of the peculiarities we've been experiencing :D

    You're not the only one who's had this. I've reported this bug once too and that was a long time ago. I still don't know what caused it but I see it's happened to quite a few people yesterday (seeing the posts on the forums).

    Indeed As @KattTruewalker says report and hope Rare sees the reports and fixes this.

    Happenned to me once after having killed the kraken too, so it might be related with the kraken fight. Maybe a bug due to shooting a tentacle trying to eat you, hence being stuck in the flying toward the tentacle animation...

    This is still happening, killed karen went to pick up loot and immediately couldnt turn left or right.

    yah this happened to me probably once or twice a week. it's been the game for over a year.
