I mean, what's the bloody point?
If the PC players don't already have the mouse-click advantage, NOW the PC players are resorting to the use of macros. (Getting one-shotted from a mile away whilst having full health gets old fairly quickly.)
Ship battles are fun, but that's about it.
Once I'm done w/ the achievements, there's really not much left for me, and I suspect it's the same for most console players.
@drayman86 I am primarily a console player and have no intention of quitting any time soon. Console players can double-shot as well. This ability has been there since the beginning. It is not new. There are a number of things you can do to avoid most fights if you feel PvP is not your thing. PC players have a slight advantage (turning speed, more precise aim, FOV) but it has not hindered most of us.

About half a second apart, yes. I get accused of being a PC hacker as a result of “one shot kills.” To them it looks instantaneous. BTW, pick sniper and pistol if you want more flexibility with your “double shots.”
I dont get pvp in this game since there is no progress and the loot has just enough value to buy a new beard or sail skin.. people and boats just respawn.. i dont see the point. A ally gives more income...
But i love them the pvp players make it exciting and fun to pve because they can waste your time for nothing i guess :D
Do you feel that 90% of the fights are unfair and won because you're on a console?
Well guess what? You'd best start practising because only 10% or so of the people playing this game are PC players.
I'm not saying there is no difference but it's really not as big as people make it out to be. One of my friends plays exclusively on his x-bone and we'll let him board and kill everyone on board of the enemy ship, we're never worried that he won't be good because he just is.
Without the need for presice aiming there's not as much advantage to having a KBM setup as there is in for example overwatch or Fortnite.
