    Gregg Mayles shared on Twitter the three different personas they created for Sea of Thieves to reflect their target audience range and the different ways of playing the game.

    'Athena' referenced here is apparently the codename of Sea of Thieves, it's not the Athena's Fortune we know in-game :)

    I'm probably in Captain Redbeards crew as I like the exploration and combat aspect of the game, especially with some Machiavellian adventures like manipulating other crews. ☠
    Captain Orangebeards crew might appeal my playstyle too with amazing adventures with other crews.

    red and orange depending on day to day moods. i guess i lean more towards red since i enjoy being in capable full on athena risk pvp crews which work flawless together without ever having met exponentially more than everything else. its just great when everybody is paying attention to the sailing, always on the look out, on the edge, sharp and eager to engage in battle. spot on sailing, then catching a ship and looting it clean without even breaking a sweat just to hunt the next ship on the horizon while doing forts, megs, krakens and skeleton ships inbetween. nothin like it. i guess i am full-on red now.

    At heart I'll always be an orangebeard, but I think the blood from to many innocent sloopers may have reddened it.

    Mixed green and red i guess

    Its green but then i do like other players and dont care about losing the loot and love the risk because its exciting and funny while i just want to catch and sell chickens on beautifull white beach with palmtrees and have a relaxed game :")

    Bit of all of course. But it’s definitely the sea that draws me back with or without crew, treasure or no treasure. The absolute freedom in which the Sea of Thieves offers.
