I know the title sounds stupid but the theory is great. You’ve probably heard of a place called the Bermuda Triangle if you haven’t it’s a strange area in the sea. Many ships have entered the triangle but have never returned. In the sea of thieves ships cannot exit the sea due to the dangerous side of the map known as the Devils Shroud. My point? The Bermuda Triangle and the Sea of Thieves share a lot of qualities such as ships outside cannot pass through. I’m not saying I’m positive that that’s where the Sea of Thieves is located but I think it adds up.
Sea of Thieves is a real world location?!
@closinghare208 Because this is rubbish:

@danklizard202
this ain't true at all. People travel through this area every day. There had been a little number of weird cases, where ships / plains get lost - but hardly more then on any other place in the sea.
"Oceans have always been a mysterious place for humans. When the weather and/or navigation are bad, they can also be quite deadly places. This is the case all over the world," says the National Ocean Service. "However, there is no evidence that mysterious disappearances in the Bermuda Triangle are more common than any other busy part of the ocean.
