sailing the seas and by chance get attacked by the kraken mid way through the fight we are all below deck repairing and a kraken tentacle grabs the ship right above the stairs stopping all of us from getting water out from the ever flooding ship. I'm all for the kraken grabbing the ship but grabbing it where it makes beating the kraken impossible to defeat well that kinda makes fighting the kraken absolutely pointless?

@soldierofaesir I thought this to be one of those, if you do this or that it won't be a problem. Then it happened with the three of us, One on the ferry, one down repairing, and one on deck sure enough all the shooting with guns, swords swinging and still no way to get water out. I patched till I knew water needed to be bailed and no can do with the beast keeping you from getting the ocean out of your doomed vessel.
Their is only so many times something can be repeated on a forum. I see this is a new account. So either you have been banned or are new. I'd suggest searching the topic because they're plenty of resources on this subject However, for a quick summary:
- Water from bucket goes through Kraken tentacle.
- Keep one person below for repairs and nothing else.
- Kill head of tentacle adjacent to boat, when wrapped. Will aid in releasing grip.
- Focus the head not the main body of the wrapped tentacle.
- Make an effort to collect supplies.
This encounter is very easily survivable. Learning to adapt is easier than demanding Rare fix a non-issue.
