Yeah, watching Shroud for 3 hours myself.

It will have zero effect on Sea of Thieves, in my opinion. They are totally different experiences. Atlas just seems like a reskin of Ark and extremely grindy to get to the actual fun stuff. I played a lot of Ark and I can't imagine the game will ever run well either on any machine. When Shroud is getting lag on a private server with 70 people and the official servers are even worse and they're aiming at much higher numbers at full capacity - signs are not good.

Gameplay wise though, it's like comparing Day-Z to Dead Rising, just because they are both zombie games. SOT is just a far more accessible and fun.
