My skull fort key was dropped into a crate to hide, and now it’s inaccessible. Is there any way i could get help? I spent an hour sinking a legend crew galleon 3 times.
My skull fort key got stuck
If stashed on the fort island, or neighboring island - this used to happen a lot due to artifact collisions, etc - and was improved on.
Now with more active forts, best to report any collisions as accurately as you can and I’m sure we’ll see the same improvements.
Correctly said, if the key is colliding on a ship, visible but inaccessible, sinking the ship is the only way to recover it.
If on an island, I have seen SOME success (even if just by chance) - that bringing in/swapping a new player into the crew can allow that player to pick up/free the object. In the past this has happened to keys as well as treasure items.
Funny Tale: Once had a weeping chest dropped next to the ladder on a galleon, when it started crying the chest was gone and embedded itself somewhere in the hull between the top and middle deck. We could see water but wouldn’t fill up. We kept the ship going as a ‘cursed wailing ship’
