What I would improve from the pioneer program

    So we all know the pioneer program will have some changes. This is what I would improve:

    • How to enter the program:
      At the moment entering the pioneer program is like the lottery. What I would change is not making random, make it that those who have experience in the game and have reported or posted a feedback threat at least once, are invited to the pioneer program. Other people that haven't experience in the game and/or haven't reported or posted a feedback threat shouldn't be invited to the program.
      EDIT: With "have experience" I'm saying that a minimum of hours played and a minimum of reputation is needed. Not 50/50/50 but like a 35/35/35 would be nice.

    • A method to avoid leaks
      There have been some leaks from the pioneers. For example, some pioneer Leaked Festival of the Damned customization. And another pioneer leaked something from shrouded spoils that I'm not going to say. So, I think putting a floating text that moves constantly with the player gamertag for you Rare have it easier to ban pioneers that broke the NDA. I know that it will break the immersion, but the pioneer builds are for testing things and give feedback, not to play seriously.

    While that would be a way you can try to handle people posting things, people can just screenshot things and cover it up or just edit the video and sensor the name. Aside from that it can also be very distracting to whatever you are doing and focus can be taken away from small details you need to pick up on in game with this watermark floating in your face

    @taaaamas The screenshot thing it's true, but in a video, as it's moving it's hard to censor.

    @taaaamas IDK if it's possible, but if the game could detect that a screenshotting program is active then the game stops running. That could be a way for preventing screenshots.

    Still wont stop people from trying, might take a while but people will do it if it means leaking stuff

    You can't exactly regulate screenshot stuff, there are many ways to screenshot something but as well as that you can even just take pictures of your screen and there isn't anyway that can exactly regulate that

    @eggamer13 Rare consider many different factors in their selection process, which we are never told about, when inviting pirates to become Pioneers.
    As they are all under NDA they are unable to share any of that information outside the Pioneer build and will be removed from the programme should they be found doing so. This includes passing information, screenshots and video to other parties who might then share that information.

    Maybe you have the reason, but, if that's the case, Are their criteria stupid or something? I know some players who are Pioneers, and they've never reported a bug or gave a feedback post. Also, some of them even don't play anymore since The hungering Deep, and they're (or at least they were before FS) still pioneers.

    I think their criteria or factors of selecting pioneers it's silly, but Rare will know how to do it. 😐
