From my experience PVPing, I personally find blunderbuss knockback to be an issue. It's always annoying managing to get onto a ship and then seconds later getting knocked off because someone shot a blunderbuss in my face. This happens countless times and gets very annoying. Does anyone else see this as an issue that needs to be resolved? The blunderbuss is good enough as is and the knockback mechanic doesn't help.

If you are talking about getting knocked off while on ladder, that happens with all damage done up close. However, I personally find the Blunderbuss in a bad state currently. I don't think this should be removed, it already is somewhat mediocre. I can go into more detail on why its bad if necessary.
@one-eye-ethan No, no issue. Getting a shot at close range, I mean, that can give a push, shouldn't it?
How come so many people complain about little difficulties and see them as fixable issues, btw.
@goedecke-michel Even when like 2 pellets hit you? No, it shouldn't. If you don't mind, go ahead and give me some "big difficulties" that you see as issues. Updates don't always focus on big issues. Small tweaks here and they go a long way.
Right now, in my opinion Blunderbuss is in a bad state. Damage is weak at any range besides point blank. Including even a few feet. This weapon isn't reliable to explode kegs safely. Its only good use is gold skeletons, but that is too niche. Otherwise sword is king for skeletons. You could argue ladder guarding, but any weapon can do that. Knockback is one of the only things going for it. Why take away one of the only few positives to this weapon?
How is it a challenge? Months after DR, you still have people talking about how difficult it is to maneuver through volcanoes. THATS a challenge. Me outplaying a sloop and boarding just to have a guy hit me at somewhat moderate range and I go 10 feet back off of the ship into the water? Sounds fair.
