@PersonalC0ffee is right, and there's a whole bunch of 'em out there. Just off the top of my head, y'all might want to explore Smuggler's Bay, Sanctuary Outpost, Shark Bait Cove, Snake Island and the Ferry of the Damned.

@tartansnake Tell the developers to get you a new easter egg! The only people more annoyed by it now, are my crew mates who have to listen to me go "Oh look guys! Free snake bask-Nooo! He got me again!"
I agree, I didn't know what it was all about. At risk of breaking rules, it does seem some 'rules' are applied somewhat in haste over explanation of the topic.
You would have thought there could be a cleanup and some new 'eggs' left that are more relevant maybe.

The source for known easter eggs is here and is updated, we do rely on the community letting us know if they find additional easter eggs because they're a secret to us too!

What? Remove the in-game monuments to some of our community members great achievements just because they were before your time?
Seems a bit self-centred. Why not try doing something worthy of an easter egg yourself?

@katttruewalker Fair does Katt, though as I said I didn't know and the closedown was as you said for old thread, but I still didn't know at that point.
Not self centered, more a case of if they are out of date and folks gone. Secondly perhaps it was/is time for some new ones for the eager types out there.
Can't say I have played since before hungering deep for reasons I have covered before. Still hoping things will improve and our family crew can come back in, til then we monitor whats going on.

I'd certainly be in favour of more pirates being commemorated in game. Rare seem to have their own criteria for what makes it in, but celebrating particularly humerous or impressive feats seems to be what they're about.
I feel that the current easter eggs and the pirates they celebrate are like the history of sea of thieves. They make the world feel lived in and add to its stories. I may have never met some of the pirates they refer to, some of those pirates may no longer even sail these seas, but they did once, their legends live on and I feel the game is richer for it.
