Just a quick idea:
After just one time playing SoT, I've seen and read all the loading screens. Could we maybe get more? Perhaps some that aren't tied to the current event but give some general tips?
loading screens
@personalc0ffee sagte in loading screens:
How can that possibly be a bad thing?
Well, SoT is a sandbox game and I think it takes the fun out for me if the game tells me too much about itself. Let the players have their imagination come up with loading screen tips, that's the whole point.
I quite like the Skyrim/Fallout loading screens. They're part (lore-friendly) tips and part lore. And if you install a mod like frostfall, it adds loading screens to the existing ones.
It must have taken me a year or so to read them all.
Also, perhaps the SoT loading screens could stay on screen a little longer. I can imagine that for people who read slower (or aren't native English speakers) they can be hard to read sometimes.

Yip.. I like that.
I wouldn't mind if they ran a few of the previous ones ( if they remain relevant to the game mechanics ), or introduce as you say ' general tips ' .Think it could also be used as a slight 'teaser' thing as well.
Would be pretty cool if they dropped an image & rhyme out of the blue of a future event or item....... a "Wait, did I just see that?" moment if you like.@ottersteeth i just want them to speed up the initial game launch speed.... Takes like 1 min on a PC, even with gtx 1080ti and ryzen 8core cpu 3.0gz with 16gb ram.... And then it takes like a further 2 mins to actually get into the game.
@chewywarden least its only a minute for you, I have a potato and an xbox both of which takes about 5 min to load into the game each. Sometimes the pc loads faster and sometimes xbox does. Its a race with no winners.
Back on topic, I agree it would be nice to see some tips as that was how I learned some things in the beginning, though I liked how they alluded to he tips rather than flat out tell ya.
