Just installed a AMD 7670 on my PC and cant get into the actual game. I can launch it from wherever i like, fiddle with the settings and crew selection just fine. I press set sail and after the loading screens it just goes black. Ive tried various drivers windowed/full ect, tinkered with everything i can think of. Also I cant find anyone else having this particular issue. *Side note, i can here the tavern backround sounds on the blackscreen.

I have had this happen on my PC (Surface Book) while playing, never on initial load, the symptoms are identical to yours however.
I have submitted a bug report for my issues, but it would be a good idea for you to do the same with your added information to help them track it down.
