OK, so I know decorating 'your' ship etc has been discussed, and one of the issues is who 'owns' the ship and so on, so I was thinking maybe there is a way of each member of the crew having their own 'trinket' or 'trophy' display case.
The idea would be you have a place on the ship where you can choose to place a certain number of the items you find washed up on the shore, like the goblets and so on, once placed inside they would persist over sessions (but you wouldn't be able to take them back out and sell them, they just become like cosmetics).
Each member of the crew would have their own in a certain place on the ship, and only that crew member could place something in it, and it would have your name above it or something so you knew which was yours.
Maybe you could get things to put in it based on some of the commendations.

In lieu of this, I'd like to see a revamped lobby menu where you are in your personal "hideout" and your treasures remain there. Perhaps there could be a mechanism to save treasures at the end of a session instead of selling them and it would put them into your hideout.
People have been asking for a new lobby menu and this seems like it would be easier to implement than modifying the ships.
@closinghare208 Yes, that was the sort of thing I was thinking. You could choose to put any 'shiny' things you find on the shelf and they would become a permanent cosmetic (so you couldn't take them off and sell them later). Perhaps it could also be used to display something for each of the 'titles' you hold (from Merchant/OoS/GH or BR campaigns).
