Here is an idea my friend and I came up with on the spot last night and actually tried it out in case the devs were being super sneaky:
What if you could dry already wet cloth by standing next to an open flame? We got next to a torch and a campfire and held our cloth cargo aloft to the flickering flame. I don't think there was any change after 20 seconds but we certainly had a laugh while shouting, "ARGH, me britches be soiled! Yer pantaloons are sopped!"
(Sorry, we're also secretly twelve years old)
Anyway, is there any chance the devs would allow for minor spoilage of cargo to be reversed? It could be fun for an extra 100 gold reward at the end...
Dirty Laundry: Saving The Wet Linens in a Cargo Run
@big-mean-chief I like that idea. Make minor damage reversable if action is taken quick enough but if you take too long or major damage is taken it is permanent.
The only issue is, how do we repair slightly broken glass bottles?
@xcalypt0x That one is a pickle. I haven't played cargo runs extensively enough, but do all the bottles break when rattled or just a few at a time?
@xcalypt0x tips pirate hat Twinkle-Toes Calypt0, pleasure to meet you again haha. Those rum bottles are fickle.
@xcalypt0x Perhaps instead you could "replace" the bottles. If you go to certain islands you can find various bottles strewn about. Now yes, that would mean they would be empty, but perhaps if one at a chest of grog you could fill them. Would make for interesting gameplay.
