Captain’s Log VIII
It’s over… This journey, this- this nightmare. All of it… What happened in that storm… I can’t even begin to put it to paper… We sold the loot, aye but was it worth the cost… The choice we had to make in that storm, was awful. The ship… she didn’t make it, consumed by the storm, and… and the beast… The water it just turned black… we were trapped. Water was flood’n in from the storm, and that nightmarish monster beneath us grabbed the ship, and shook ‘er like a child’s toy. We were offered a deal… the Ferryman made it clear as day… Life, or death… We chose life, but the greed got the best of us, and it cost us our ship. So fer now, I’m goin’ to plot our next move, and get revenge. The Aurai’s Blessing sinks, tomorrow, and she will know the names of her killers. I will avenge my ship, and she won’t escape…
