Delete post and be rude to people

  • Well It is proven to me by response action today that Rare don't give a stuff about how rude they are to people who post polite, clear legitimate posts. They delete the post and fob you off with a comment about not discussing moderator actions - which was a statement of fact not a query and make a half hearted (read no) attempt to address the main issue which was about player/crew balancing to address long standing complaints and requests for pve only servers or safe areas. I hasten to add I was asking for neither of those options.

The Mod knows who they are and are as result now fully disrespected.

  • Gets warned for talking about moderator actions, then immediately posts about moderator actions...

Do you want bans? Because that's how you get bans!

  • These mods are the best mods on the Internet, if ya want dictators for mods look no further than Halo Waypoint.

Hats off to the SoT mods!

  • I think the point was to not discuss the moderator decision......yea.

From a former community manager of an official forum, and a current Reddit moderator on a few boards, this rings so damn true. Especially the banned members part.

  • @Stratcat51 As this post is continuing to discuss disciplinary actions, and is a call-out against memebers of staff, this post will now be locked. Please refrain from posts that are intended to stir unrest in the community and which violate the forum rules.

    Discussing Disciplinary Actions
Discussion of disciplinary actions taken against individual players is not permitted on the Forums. Topics and posts with this content will be locked, deleted and the users involved warned. Ignoring the warning will result in a temporary ban from the Forums and a final warning. If the action continues, a permanent ban from the Forums will be issued.
