What is the difference from you just decide that 2 ppl will meet in a fight and everyone else is watching?

I think he is talking about dueling your own crew mates. There is currently no way to fight your own crew members.

Oh yeah you are correct, i misread the post. :)

Yes then it would be kinda fun, also good way to practise PvP for newer players i guess.

@eviltortoise I think this would be a good idea because it would be an easy way to help new players, It was a little difficult teaching my friend all of the cutlas tricks without knowin if he could block or dodge correctly... We found out the hard way when a galleon crushed our little sloop...

Would be a great way to practice that's for sure, maybe even add an fighting rind somewhere to practice. But you'd be surprised how much 1 vs 1 happens in taking on other pirates.

I was sailing with a friend and a group of legends came upon us, started blaring the theme song to red alert and just blew our sloop apart. I jumped off and I could hear the one pirate chasing me, taunting me. I turned around and he told his crew mates to form a circle around us so I could fight him one on one. Needless to say, after a small skirmish I actually beat him. He started swearing left and right, but his crew thought it was so funny, especially after all his taunting, that they actually gave me loot and dropped me off at an outpost.

Crazy things can happen in this game.

This is something I'm surprised was never included. I would love to have duels, cause if nothing else the practice is great, and because I have a PL friend of mine thats regularly in my crew and ive always wanted to see how good I was in comparison since he is usually our boarding party when we play.

I will always upvote these posts. This is something I have been asking for since launch. It could be initiated with an emote (similar to "Make Friends") and would end in the losing party either having the grog effect or sent into a sleep emote for 20 seconds.
