Okay, so I have this idea for having a treasure room you can store your chests and transfer from server to server. I was thinking about how it would work. So my thought plan was you could get this room, but only after reaching pirate legend. Then in each hide out there are 3-4 rooms, and your room can be either in the hide out of the outpost you spawn at, or one of the others. My idea(s) for locating your room is that you will either receive a paper thing you keep on you, or it will be a special mark on the map on an outpost. You can open and close your door, but unless you close it yourself, it will not lock and can be opened by any other pirate.
Then I thought of ways others could actually get into your room. My ideas are that you can get a cargo run, where you can have the chance to get a key to a random room, and with it a paper telling you the outpost to go to, or a key you can find washed ashore or in a ship wreck, also with a paper. Of course, any of those will be even harder to find or get than a box of wondrous secrets, and will function like a fort key where when you use it, it is consumed, used on the correct door or not.
Now, my idea for getting to even access the rooms with the key, even when not a pirate legend. If you are in the possession of the key and walk up to the mysterious stranger in the tavern, a new button option will be available to show him the key. When this is done, he will open the hide out to you, and you cam go guess which of the four rooms your key goes to.
When using the key, it'll be a game of chance, like mentioned before. If the key is used on the correct door, it'll open and be consumed. If not, the key will break and, naturally, be consumed. And, of course, the key will become useless if the player it belongs to leaves.
