The expanded menu for barrels in the world is great however it messe with the accessibility of storage barrels on your boat as now players can no longer quickly store or grab supplies making stocking up in supplies a chore and grabbing boards/bananas in a pinch a hassle.
I think an easy way to resolve this without having to add more to that system would be to bring back the ability to "quick store" items held in your hand E. G holding planks well looking at wood barrel, button prompts would now read "open barrel" and "store wood planks).
Taking items out would beittlw trickier to have a logical/fluent design to it but following this idea players could be able to select items from their scroll wheel (bananas, wood, cannonballs) when empty so when you approach a barrel with one of these "in hand" the additional prompt will read as "take" rather than "store"
