So as a PC player i have noticed a few people bringing up the fact that they should just lower the mouse sensitivity rather than uping the Xbox gamepad, and i am here to explain why this is not viable.
-
PC players have a limited space to which they can actually move the mouse around in, so if the sensitivity is reduced we would constantly have to pick up the mouse and put it back to the other side just to continue turning.
-
A better alternative, if it really bothers you so much that you occasionally die, would be to ask for keyboard and mouse support on xbox and buy a keyboard and a mouse....
-
Many PC players have sunk hours into finding the perfect sensitivity for them in every single game, i know i used to tweak my mouse DPI, and it would absolutely ruin the experience to just "lower every PC players sensitivity" when there are better alternatives.
-
Xbox and PC now can have the same sensitivities in this game.
-
How do you know that someone is a PC player with "insane" sensitivity? It could just be that you lost to another xbox player that is better or that you lost to a pc player that is using a gamepad themselves...
-
Even if you do die to any player once in a blue moon, just move on... You died once its not the end of the world and it doesn't take long to get more loot.
-
cannon sensitivity and boat controls are all the same over xbox and PC regardless of mouse/keyboard or gamepad, so mouses don't affect how you perform in boat battles.
