I am sick off being hacked to death by pc players and I don't want to hear any comments about me getting better at the game, I am undefeated since release in fair (1v1, 2v2, 3v3 or 4v4) situations.
Just make crossplay optional!

It's impossible they hack your gameplay.
So far the only thing know is third party with aimbots.
Everything else may be bad connection or server issues.
And/or superior FPS players on PC with better skill.It happens..
@kingkennie Plus, how do you know its a pc player that kills you... You could easily just have got caught off guard by anyone playing xbox... AND some pc players use gamepads too so that whole 'mouse and keyboard is super op' thing doesnt apply here
@chewywarden My guard was up, I am definitely one of the best players in the game (top 1%) I am undefeated in fair situations. Since release! I know a hacker when I see one! Hitting every shot in near impossible situations, jumping from lower deck (sloop) up to the steering wheel in 1 Jump! Tanking several sword hit from 2 people without healing himself. There are hackers on pc and besides that aimbot is a hack.
@kingkennie I'm sorry but i find it hard to believe you when you arent acting mature enough to raise a simple discussion but rather screaming at eveeryone...
This topic has already been spoken about many times and RARE are constantly making little changes to make PC and XBOX equal. Hackers are everyone's enemy... Even the nice PC people are affected by hackers not just players on xbox....
So please be patient as players who hack do get banned.

If the hacking continues the game will die on both platforms. Just lost 23 Items to hackers and you already know that I am not in a good mood right now because of that.

If you truly were one of the best players, you would have turned in some of those items to be on the safe side... I'm just saying :).
Anyhow, are there people cheating? Yes, there are. Rare is doing all they can to counter them. The amount of cheaters vs regular players, however, is so insignificant that most players won't run into a cheater anyway. I'm not saying you are a bad player, but I think the more believable scenario is that you got beaten by a player that is better than you.
@KingKennie Love it or hate it, cross play is here to stay matey. Sounds like you do pretty well sometimes and others not so much. When the not so much occurs your conclusion is they must be PC and a hacker. I have had many situations similar to what you are describing. Even last night we were up against some guys that were clearly PC "legit legends". But we did manage to beat them. Why, because we did small things that minimized their minor advantages.
Now yes, there are some hackers out there, but Rare has already shown its grit in banning a fair amount of people and have promised to keep working to keep SoT clean. In fact, Rare banned so many clear cheaters that they made a public announcement about it, just a month ago.
The cross play argument is not the real enemy here mate. The real enemy is cheaters. And as long as there have been games, even old school athletics, board games or any game really, there have been cheaters.
I will tell you though, no matter how great you are, there will be times you lose, even if you are the better overall player. As luck does play a roll in this on occasion and even the lone noobie will get lucky occasionally. So dust off some of that salt my friend and get back out there and create a new adventure.

Fill in as much relevant detail as possible, including Gamertags and screenshots if you have them, and Rare will investigate. They have a lot more data to work with.

Well, for your issue with hackers: record them, report them.
But your behaviour in this thread and insulting others with "low IQ people" makes everybody laugh about you.

If you are honestly "being hacked to death by pc players" then as a person who has complained many times here before you should know the protocol of reporting it to someone who
gives a flyingcan do something about it.Either report all incidents with proof to the support team linked below or restrict your play to only games made by the console m*********e.
For someone who is undefeated, all of your posts suggest otherwise.

@admiral-rrrsole You're right, Just another player who can't get his own way, Cross platforming brings such a great diversity in the game, there's even been times that I've bested a PC player, So its not unfair at all.

@admiral-rrrsole Not sure mate, But the game isn't just about PVP you know, Sure you can fight one another if he wanted to but he can chose not to and do his best to avoid such a thing from occurring. He's just probably been raiding other ships and they end up destroying him. However mate, I can say that being on PC doesn't mean scurvy. An xbox player can beat a pc player and vice versa. However I reckon you would win against me in a PvP.

But the sloop is more manouverable than the brig so you can out run a galleon and a brig.. Especially if you sail against the wind..
@campingxsnake We did 3 gold hoarders missions in a row plus a few ship wrecks, then wanted to cash in all we had, had to skip 2 outposts because there were 4 ship nearby 2 brigs 2 sloops, we sailed from sailors bounty all the way down to plunders outpost to cash in, everything looked clear until a third brig came to us from a different location than the ones we saw before, we managed to cash in 5 things and then had to flee, brig wins in speed vs sloop, so we had to fight 3v2 which is not a problem, but then 1 of them boarded survived at least 2 blunderbuss point blanks, 5 hits from swords without healing in between, did impossible movement things (jumping from deck up to steering wheel in 1 jump) and hit shots from every angle and situation even when boarding by ramming into us, mid-air while he was jumping from the front of their ship to ours. I don't get why people are making up things here just to discredit what I just said. Unbelievable...

i had both, yes.. but as i mentioned, a sloop is faster against the wind. So if you just hold long enough and sailing against the wind, you will find rocks or even an outpost and you can just jump off and cash in..
There is always a way to escape
Before the topic ends, just would like to remind you people that hacks do exist, I've never encountered them despite being a veteran player playing through every iteration of the game since december, but I know which types exist and how they are injected. Rest assured, if you ever encounter them, you can act like a loser like the op and just complain about it, or you can be a chad and kill the hackers then proceed to report them.
