Sea of Thieves events are amazing and the last event, The Cursed Sails was a huge success. Halloween is a great time for events. So what is my idea? The Ferry of the Damned rises from the sea, with a player crew. Players can join this crew through the ship selection menu. The Ferry haunts the seas with a strong bloodlust, and players who die by the Ferry must make a choice: either join its crew, or receive the Mark of the Reaper (for a limited amount of time) and risk getting hunted down by the Ferry.
Players that successfully take down the Ferry get awesome ghostly ship skins And gold!

What would you say to taking it a step further?
Instead of joining Davey Jone's crew through the ship selection menu, what if it became the actual place you teleported to when killed? Only above sea level during the time of the event.You would be bound to the ghost ship until you manage to replace your soul on the ferry with someone else you kill.
Over time the ferry could get overcrowded unless, after 4 players die, it releases the longest serving ferry crew member back to his/her ship.@surveyorpete G'day mate.

A: surprisingly people out there still think the world is flat. (even when we've known it was round since the ancient Romans)
B: the coding would be hell to have to do to make a ship sail around that was never meant to do so. it is a stationary object in the world because it is a simple way to help make sure you dont spend to much time loading (tho the occasional black screen of death)
