A friend and I have now done this battle for the 2nd time with an alliance with all ships adorning the sails...and none of us recieved the commendation.

Same here. Just happened again tonite. No troubles with the others, just Ancient Isles. Others on my ship and in our alliance did recieve theirs however.

Yeah had it happen to me to, but I searched it in the support site and they said it is a known issue they with be addressing with the next patch notes
