A great time zone convertor

  • Anyone not in BST (British Standard Time) has to convert to suit their time zone with these events.
There was an app for it but now event times have changed (pardon the pun). Besides, maybe you want to meet a friend online at a given time.

Thanks to my crew mate @Blooddoll22 for finding this easy to use time zone convertor with slider.

Select your time zone and BST or whatever zone you wish and it will display correctly without any need for math.

For PC users, Windows 10 also has multiple time display built in.
Go to settings and select "Time and Language".
On the right of screen, under "Related Settings" select "Add clocks for different time zones".
Select the time zone you want as a secondary display, even give it a name.
Then when you hover your mouse over your time display, in the right hand side of your taskbar, it will display both times.

I've adjusted mine to show Blooddoll's time so we can let each other know when we'll next be up for some salt water mayhem.

  • I hadn't even thought to add a clock to my windows. I blame the grog! Thank you for being clear headed. Wait, did I just say you, @Admiral-RRRSole , were clear headed? Back to the grog!

Oh dear, that's the worst case of sober I've seen in a long time. ¡ʇɐʇs 'ƃoɹƃ ǝɹoW

Before anyone else thinks I've fallen off the wagon and come to my senses, adding the extra time display to Windows was also Blooddoll's idea.

I did write a world clock program with up to four time zone displays, daylight savings, etc., late last year but that's on my Win 7 HDD.

  • nevermind your win10 clocks,
your phone can also have multiple timzones set in the default clock app that comes with your Android or iOS

  • @squaz05 Ahh but I'm not playing SoT on my phone. :o)

  • You can also visit this web page that tells you when and where.
