Will the new legend cosmetic be required for athena 10?

I heard it’s Athena based but legend status is required. It wasn’t an official source but it seemed legit.

I heard its locked behind legend status and athena rep. Pieces unlock at athena levels 3, 5, 7, and 10 but u HAVE to be a Legend to buy @RoughLeech03117

I keep seeing on different places that yes the new cosmetics will require PL and Athena levels to unlock, I assume the figurehead will be the one unlocked on level 10.

I am PL but made it to Athena 6 beforehand. I mean I pretty much only did Athena voyages to get to PL. For the people worried that they won't be able to get these items soon, fear not... I mean chances are by the time you get to Athena 10 you will be a pirate legend.

With the ability to buy levels from the bilge rat store, this will help. The fact that gunpowder barrel skellies are a thing now makes the order of souls portions of Athena a breeze. The loot is better than ever so you'll get lots of villainous skulls and grog chests.

Athenas are fun! Keep doing them and they get easier and easier with experience. I for one am happy that non legends can run participate in Athena's or I would have to resort to the traditional way of leveling up. When the game was new there were very few legends, now there are many.

It's not always easy to get three other legends together for an Athena, and if everyone pulls their weight they should get Athena rep too. I feel the ghost clothes and outfit are enough for non legends however, making that figurehead hard to obtain will make it a bit more fun to achieve, and when you see one coming you'll know they have put a lot into this game.
