Instead of the mesh stacking of chests in game, like someone mentioned earlier, I suggest for there to be an alternative.
Stacking crates on top of each other would be a nice (looking) way of being more realistic and immersive. Stacking merchant crates of sugar, tea and all that, stacking animal cages and stacking chests (probably in pyramid like form due to uneven shape and dimension). Dunno about skulls though.
