This is a new image of the Brigantine from the front quarter, showing new sails, paint, cannons, and other decorations. Haven't seen this image anywhere yet on the forums or on the SoT announcement.

This will definitely require communication and team work I am all for that.

We will have to see about the Crow's nest, but the sail is no different than the Galleon sail, and just requires some team work and coordination.

@tre-oni I just want the ghostly ones from the Ferry of the Damned :P But this does give them an avenue for PL only cosmetics again. Which is a good thing for those at the end of the current game.

I want more aesthetic design choices to the ship as well similar to the ferry..
I'm a big fan of that carpet path they have towards the front end, and I want to be able to do stuff like that as well lol

Excellent find! The Brig looks like it's going to be a very fun ship to sail. It also seems we're finally getting the long-awaited Cannon customization options, on top of brand-new cosmetics. This update's looking better and better!
Has anyone found the website for it yet? We know THD had it's own dedicated page, but trying seaofthieves .com/cursed-sails didn't work (spaces to prevent hyperlink).

Yeah this is a concern of mine as well. It looks like the Crow's nest needs to be moved up more... Hopefully that's resolved.
@basedpatroclus It is a Kraken skeleton... Kraken is not squid, it's a mythical creature, you can make it as you want... Do you really think the Kraken from Clash of the Titans looks like a squid...?

None of the skeletons with those exact same skulls attached are birds.

@lilly-mist Yeah, it looks reversed from what a Brigantine normally looks like (at least from images I've seen.) There should be two sails on the foreward mast and one sail with the crow's nest on the main mast. It doesn't make much sense why they reversed it - though, they may have a reason.

The skull on the ship, and the ones on Kraken's Fall are not though.
That emblem could even depict skull, closed beak with bone like tentacles surrounding.

The fore mast looks like the sloop main and the main brig mast is the galleon foremast. Seems like it was just efficient to use finished assets and I think they've done a great job. Can't wait to see below deck!
The sails and hull are crow skulls (else why the wings?) . And the figurehead is a "Kraken" skull according to SoT lore. I hope this means we one day will get to see the body of the kraken manifested. Maybe seeing smaller versions that attack the smaller ships.
