What I come here today with a slightly different approach to docking your ship with the use of rope tie offs.
This would take 1 - 2 players and would require the player manually going on the dock it’s self with a rope attached to the ship and manually pulling it in to get that perfect dock for quicker transfer of treasure. once the boat is docked you toss the rope back to the boat
And that’s my take on docking a ship.
@wevuss not a terrible idea, fun and realistic. However, if you practice docking a bit, it actually becomes very easy to get the perfect docking. Maybe something for the back burner, but not worth diverting devs. Once you raise all sails and start coasting, your ship takes no damage from bumping the dock, and you can slide right up against it.
