Gunpowder Barrel sink time

@the-portalstorm boom barrels have a longer sink time so u can set up traps with them, i know its not ideal for ur current situation but thats the way it is

It's really not a big deal for setting traps 5 minutes is more than enough time to get done what you need done. 12 minutes is ridiculous

Can you please reduce the timer to 5 minutes or somewhere close. Especially during the sunken curse commendations. I realize the Ruby statues take multiple people to break, but it takes five bomb barrels to blow it up with a solo player instantly. My issue isn't with needing more people. I have plenty of friends that are not online at the moment to do that. So I have to resort to bomb barrels to get rubies if and when I find them. So can we please reduce the timer for them to sink. It's a giant waste of time to sit here for 12 minutes for 1 Statue

Or how about an even better idea: habit stick wherever you dropped it in the water so it doesn't float back up. That way people like these guys above are happy as well. And traps can be way more effective.

Or reduce the rise speed. Any of these options would be a good idea.

@the-portalstorm its for people like me who like to make traps at outposts with all my extra barrels before i log off for the night. Wondering if any unsuspecting players run into them coming to port or even spawn into them after joining the server 🤭

No offense to you, but that's kind of dumb and mean and pointless because you're not going to watch it happen. I like setting traps too.... but that's not a very good argument to make

I've listed other options as well to solve this issue.

Don't need to I have my crew to help me. That's the point of ruby statues they are meant to be taken down by more than one player. Plus I've used two gunpowder barrels on one and it barely did a thing. Cutlasses are much more effective.

Okay I realize you're just trying to be a jerk and trying to get a rise out of me but it's not going to work. If it's so irrelevant to you then b****r off dude

@the-portalstorm only reason what i do is irrelevant to u is that u havent run into any of my traps yet, lets see how irrelevant it is when ur being chased and think to yourself “ill do a drive by at an outpost jump off n sell my best item” and then suddenly run into 10 barrels cleverly placed around an outpost 🤣🤣 i wonder how irrelevant what i do will seem to u at that moment

They float up slowly enuf to pull them deep enuf then boom. I did one on a shore with 4. Maybe 5 alll the way under water... instead of asking for a easy way to do it.. just adapt and make it work ur way.

Yeah true they do float slowly but if you're trying to work with v in a deep Zone it is extremely hard to keep juggling all 5 to get them where you need to get. So it's easier to make them sink directly to the statue. My point is that the timer takes 12 minutes to make them sink and that is a giant waste of time for one Ruby statue. You get what I'm saying?

Actually no I didn't because I didn't see a point. Like I said no one has this issue and just wait for your friends to come online the event doesn't finish until the 25th

Nobody has an issue... except for the people that have an issue with it... Like myself and whoever agrees with me. That's the point of these feedback suggestions. If it's not an issue for you then move on. If I get no upvotes then I get no upvotes. It's not a big deal it's just a topic dude. The timer is too long and so I'm asking it to be reduced. That's it, period
