Well, I just want to say that the legendary commendations don't feel like replayability because once completed, you cannot do them again. I think these events should be give gold after the first time, and be able to repeat as many times you want. Legendary commendations don't feel like the extra commendations.

The intention was not to make the commendation repeatable, but the mission that leads to the commendation.
@dragotech123 Judging from the progress of The Hungering Deep to Thrones and now Exploding Skellies, it looks as though Rare are focusing on replayability. I reckon they're going to continue to build on this as more events come along.
Let's see what they have in store for us next!

I don't think legendary commendations = replayability the way Rare hoped it would either
I think I made one single attempt to do the legendary gunpowder plot commendation, and by attempt I mean we sailed near an active fort, fired @Ve111a at the fort and sailed away while I waited to see if they were down for the commendation (they of course didn't respond, just a bunch of legends in party chat doing a fort for whatever reason). The way they are attempting it is not proper incentive to do it again, hopefully the next round they come up with some better ideas at replayability.

Yea we had like 9 villainous on board at that time lol. I am happy to sacrifice myself any day lol.
I would like to see additional achievements
I know it doesn't matter to pc gamers as much but the Xbox gamerscore system is one I've been invested in since I bought the first console
There are quite a few games that throw extra achievements in with extra dlc I don't think SoT should be any different
Especially as I don't play anything else anymore!!!Also agree with OP. Although the entire event was fun, it hasn't given me a reason now I've got all the badges to attempt to make fragile partnerships and multi crew another fort.
We have earned the dabloons, got the badge, bought the time limited gear..... It's done! Maybe replayability can be enticed by way of small rep increases in trading factions, or in some cases (including my own) quarter increases in Athena rep.
Give us a reason to want to play further.
Every event so far has been a case of, stop the voyages and work hard for a few days to get all the things associated with the time limited campaign. So far in our experience, the first few days is the best time to do these things. All of the core players seem to do the same so making those fragile alliances is slightly easier.
Then once it's done, slowly but surely all of those core players go back to questing for rep, making it harder for the second wave of people to achieve all the challenges. Once we all go back to our Athena voyages our guard comes back up, the pirate paranoia kicks in and everyone within a islands distance becomes a threat.Except on Tuesdays, I'm super chilled out on a Tuesday
See you on the seas
(But not too close)
(That's it, just there, that's perfect.... By that island.... No not that one.... Mauraders arch... That's better.. I can love you again now.... You see, long distance relationships do work)Doc

I finished it personally, and I can tell you... nothing made me want to go back and do it a second time. It was kind of annoying the first run around.
Once anyone actually gets the commendation, they still have no real reason to work with others to help them finish it as well.
I'll tell ya... in this particular case
helping someone for the good feels isn't enough to make me want to go through a few forts all over again hoping to find more people, or make sure everyone's lining shots properly, or fort hop, or make sure the commendation is even tracking properly@tre-oni said in Legendary commendations:

And the whole idea of helping other people is great and all in situations where people want help. When boats of legendary pirates server hop to simply do forts while in party chat for whatever reason and have zero interest in commendations, it's not likely you'll actually find people who want help.
