So I realized today that Duke is missing from one tavern. I was in the legend hideout and he wasn't there. I got to thinking it would be really cool if like a ghostly ancestor of duke was there. Could make sell limited time cosmetics to just legends

@captain-coel They would never do this as then non legends would not be able to get them ever and I'm sure that would anger a lot of people. Maybe cosmetics you can buy from dubloons that stays forever would be ok. Then you can choose to buy those vs buying gold with your extra dubloons.
@starquest why not make it so only legends can get. Right now new players cant get my eye patch, eye of reach, megalodon stuff, or the first round of bonecrusher gear. If there were limited cosmetics for legends ut might make people want to be a legend.
@ant-heuser-kush but they have said the adventure starts at pirate legend. I dont see why they shouldn't get time exclusive items. It would make PL special
@captain-coel it is not the same, currently everyone can get time limited items unless they dont play at all. This would exclude many people who play but aren't yet legend. A new player could pop in and do an event but they would not be able to do any of the legend stuff. All they need to do to make legends feel extra special is give them a ton of more cosmetic options, new awesome weapons that glow or have new sound effects, new ship parts such as cannons and other things that other non legends cant have until legend etc.
There is a difference between missing items because you didn't play the event and missing items because you have to reach 50 in every faction of the game before 2 weeks end. Stop being stupid, bilge rat rewards should never be exclusive to pirate legends, if you want new things for legends ask for new things for legend do not try to bend another system to fix an issue by creating another issue.
@sshteeve I like the idea, just having Duke in the Legend Tavern is enough no exclusive stuff... just making him exist there is enough.
@urihamrayne how is it being stupid. It could literally be recolors for legends. As it stands I have 130 spare doubloons. I have the 3 clothing items and have the 4 weapon skins.
Legends need stuff too. They should even lock some behind Athena 10. Different tiers of limited stuff.
I agree though at the very least we should get a merchant in the hide out.

If you want this you should not double down on asking for exclusive timed items for legends only. The bilge rat rewards should always be available to all players at any point in their playthrough, regardless of how many doubloons you didn't spend last week, which has nothing to do with the event, its just your choise and has no weight in the argument. If you want new things for legends ask for new things for legend do not try to bend another system to fix an issue by creating another issue. Do I have to repeat myself?
@urihamrayne well in your first post you told me to stop being stupid so yes please repeat yourself. Those of us that are legends should get exclusive content. If you're not legend oh well you weren't legend during the event.
I'm a pirate legend and I don't like this idea at all. The weekly events should focus of letting all players participate in them with no exclusives for legends. What's the point of locking items behind a ridiculous title that takes months of regular play to get? I don't see this point and it seems very unfair. If you have spare points then use them for gold or save them for next week's event when you may not be able to play or accomplish the accommodations due to teaming or difficulty.
If someone misses out on these items then at least they know they were given a fair shot at gaining them. where as if they missed out on the items from the pirate legends exclusives it's not their fault because it's not like they had the opportunity to get it. it's a long and lengthy grind that not everyone can grind out.
I'm all for pirate legend content but not in this form. I think we have to accept that were not going to get any substantial pirate legend content from rare. :(
@ath3na-cr33d not entirely true, they recently just stated that more people are becoming legends and so they will need to add more to it very soon. They are just focusing on the larger percent of people than the 3% or so of legends. Content for legends is coming.
