A way to see the names of players in game

    There is no way to see what the names of the player without being close to them, and I was instantly killed by one guy hacking with a sniper who shot 3 shot in less than 1 second. My crewmate tried to hide but was found by the other crewmate and died to the blunderbuss and he claims he shot 3 shots in a under a second as well. They were too far to get the names, so I would like either a kill feed or something that would be great so we can report people :)!

    Edit: I did some searching and of course there are cheats for this game. [Mod edited]
    Not sure if Rare can download this and figure out a way to block this I know hackers can just make a new one, but I hope this helps stop them :)! Keep the game clean!

    @zapster1000 i have a hard time believing your story. I mean it is possible to shoot 2 times in less than a second (2 guns equiped) as for the blunderbuss at point black it's 1 shot kill.

    if we see nameplates from far away, then you remove a huge element from the game, such as being able to sneak in a boat and steal everything, or snipe from an island unseen.

    but i don't discredit your claim, because it is possible that PC players hack, though they usually make it much more obvious than that. in fact if they were really cheating you would probably never know they were there until you died

    There aren't any rapidfire cheats available for SoT

    In any case do Rare a favour and report LITERALLY EVERYONE on your recently played list, Rare has a zero tolerance policy for hacks, so long as there are no systems in place to easily detect and report players that may be cheating or disrupting gameplay, the best we can do is give Rare (or microsoft, its their terrible [Mod edited] of and app) a reason to implement a proper report system.
