Okay so I may have thought up some lyrics for the song Grog maleys, one of the shanty’s you play in sea of Thieves. I’ve never actually learned anything about music, so advice would be great, but I hope the “cobbled together” feel of a song written by an uneducated hack adds to the pirate athestetic. Also, it’s a song about my ship, The Maddening Obsession. Here goes so:
We’re the salty boys of the salty sea and we sail the seas for treasure!
We’re the salty lads of the salty sea and we’ll sail the seas forever!
The Maddening Obsessions name is known across the land,
A blessed vessel with a crew who venture hand in hand,
But ancient bones now cross the ocean blue,
And every single one of them brings death to me or you,
When they attack we’re at the wheel,
We’ll make their undead captains kneel,
For dark forces won’t bring an end,
To us pirates of these waters.
We’re the Maddening Obsession!
