A Little Assistance Required (Bilge Rat)

    I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be doing to get the doubloons for the current Blige Rat "quest".

    Today I've killed numerous explosive skeletons but I have yet to receive any reward for it. I tried talking with Duke and still nothing. This is the first event I've actually attempted so need a shove in the right direction.

    In some cases, you have to shoot the barrels and kill 3 skeletons of the same type to build towards the achievement. You can't let them blow up the barrel.

    @aliasmask Ah, thanks. I haven't had one blow up on me yet but I haven't let them cluster either. I think I managed to get 2 with one barrel at most.

    Guess I'll have to try herding them.

    @x-crosshair-x I have also found if they chain react, aka more than 1 barrel it doesn't always count.

    If you select the Bilge Rat faction from your menu screen it will take you to a screen that lists all the things you need to do. It also will show you how far along you are for each one.

    Thanks a lot for the help guys. Will take a look at the faction panel now and see what's going on.

    I find it very nice to allow us to easily mount the levels of each sector of the games thanks to the recommendations of the Bilge rats. This is a very good thing to achieve the pirate legend. I'm on this level 43, 43,43. Thank you for these improvements and your investment in the games

    A good way to group skellies together is to get them to follow you to the shore. Skeletons can't swim, so they will stop at the shallows. Then, simply shoot an explosive barrel a skelly is carrying and earn your doubloons. Be sure to watch out for sharks!

    @guarez I actually figured out today the order of souls is good for it too.

    Got a random quest from a book on an island to kill off three captains. Didn't realise they also spawn with barrels too. It's made it much easier for the doubloons.
