To start I am simply in love with this game. I can't put it down. So my path so far has brought me to 50/50/47 and the merchant grind is rough. The Order of Souls was tough as I play solo 90% of the time but I did it with a little help at the end. I bought 3 letters of recommendation with my hard earned doubloons. Today is the best day of the week, update day. Seeing that the price was changed to an entire level for each letter was a crushing blow. I would be a pirate legend today had I just waited a few weeks. I am not complaining, I get it, things change and I jumped too soon. But is it fair to ask if there may be a refund or relevel based on the new prices for those who bought early? I don't expect this, just asking humbly. I do recall clothes were priced too expensive and refunds were offered a few updates ago for all who bought. Any chance we could see something like that here? Either way I love the game and think Rare has nailed it. I am excited each week on update day, keep refreshing the update notes page for the latest info. Rare, you got me, I am hooked.
A shout out to a classy pirate legend. Met Trishy one night by accident and hit it off. He was a legend and took me under his wing. I knew nothing but knew I wanted to learn. This guy has spent untold hours with me teaching, helping, guiding, and coaching me through the levels. He doesn't do the work for me, as he shouldn't but he shares his knowledge and guidance. This is what a pirate legend should be in my eyes. Yes, they have earned a title that should demand respect from all who come into contact with them in the game but they also should help to better the community (IMO). Trishy, I doubt you will see this but thanks, you are the true Pirate Legend!
