Glider suggestion - pirate transportation

    A glider would be a great addition to the game.

    Imagine an inventory item you can pull out while in the air to increase the distance to cover to get back to the ship, hop islands independently to gather loot, or give enemy crews trouble.

    Row boats ease the frustration of mobility but gliders would open the world to so much more exploration. One of the things I've wanted to do more is explore but I haven't been willing to spend the amount of time to cover the area of the map. With the glider I would see myself exploring independently more. It would enrich my individual experience and as a consequence allow me to bring more game knowledge to my crews.

    3. Be more pirate

    No offense, but I think this proves an interesting point.

    For some reason, a lot of people want to make every game like Fortnite.

    A dangerous trend if you ask me. We need more diverse original game ideas rather than all games trying to be battle royale.

    I played a lot of Archeage. I have totally thought on many occasions how nice it would be to have a glider. To be honest, though, I think it wouldn't fit well at all and ultimately would make things like boarding WAY too easy.

    I see what you're saying and why one would be useful. Having said that - this is a pirate game and I think keeping it as close to pirate lore as possible is ideal. After we get a glider - then what's next? Machine guns? Torpedos?

    People have already suggested camouflaged clothing, high speed rowboats, Radar, and submarines!
