PSA: Head-shots do NOT do more dmg than regular shots.

    I'm making this post for 2 reasons.

    1. I'm sure that very few people know about this, and i'm sure alot of people(including myself) have lost time/missed shots aiming for the head of other players. ^you can see in the gif above that he takes almost 2 seconds extra to line up the head shot.
    2. I very much believe that this should be changed.

    Virtually every single person that plays a game with guns will aim for the head and expect it to do more dmg(cause brains) whether they play alot of games or not. It just makes sense. Now, the one obvious downside of this change will be that PC players will have an even greater advantage over xbox players, but I believe that's a problem that should be dealt with separately.

    @betsill I've noticed this, too. But shooting someone close up does cause more damage - as it should.

    So I was right... See, I use rl shooting habits in games (Did some courses for self defense and the like) and I always aim for centermass, never the head. Seemed to always drop them same number of shots as my mate who misses more aiming for the brainbox than the gut.

    And lets face it, lotta chubby pirates in this game.

    I'm sure almost the entire playerbase knew that from beta times, and even Alpha times and has been something that's just common knowledge for this game for everyone I've run into. You're the first that's pointed it out, and I'm surprised.

    @andriel1036 I've been told that everyone has the same size hitbox as well. being fat actually just hides the hitbox and tricks you into shooting because you think you're gonna hit lol.

    @kawaii-dumpling Not true lol no one i've talked to knows about it in game or out. Some of them had heard, but wasn't sure if it was just a rumor. Congrats for being informed tho lol

    @kawaii-dumpling I could just be talking to the wrong people of course, but like in my case I don't think anyone questions it. Like I said in my post everyone just assumes that headshots do more dmg unless someone tells them otherwise.

    +1 ... but shots close do more damages ... BUT head, legs, hand shots are the same damages
