A Sea of Thieves Triangle - Areas of the Ocean Map that will teleport you to another area in the ocean (maybe off the coast of island not on the offical map, and when you sail away it teleports you back) HOW DO YOU think it should be???
Sea of Thieves Triangle (Bermuda Triangle) what should happen?
@crackerjackx13 there already is one, what happens is you load up your ship with at least 5k worth of gold (happened to us twice so far by sunken grove)... all you do then is sail and the game will crash leaving your ship to be sucked down into the ocean and you will be gifted the almighty almondbeard commendation. Enjoy my friend
Love the idea, but instead of being a specific area of the map, it would be cool if in a future build the "SoT Triangle" would be a bright light that envelops the ship and when the flash dims some you're sailing upside down, water above you, sky beneath you like the world and the game camera have flipped. The trick would be everything functions the same but in reverse....good luck not sinking before the triangle eventually spits you back out and right side up.
It would be interesting if it was a specific area, but a random occurrence within it, and a big reward for taking the risk of entering this area.
It could also be another random event, like a large maelstrom opening up beneath you, but it forms slowly, giving the more experienced and skilled sailers an opportunity to escape before they are swallowed.
For those unfortunate pirates who don't escape the whirlpool, maybe the don't exactly sink or die, but the screen could go wonky, black out, and the ship reappears in a different random location with calm waters, stripped of a randomly generated percentage of loot and supplies on board.
