Please make it so that when using the mega-phone people from other crews can hear it even in party chat. Switching between party/game is cumbersome on Xbox this would be a nice way to communicate with other crews quickly.

Party chat is a completely separate Microsoft service run on completely separate servers that Rare has no control of.They can make it part of the game sound effects though, which you can hear while in party chat, which Rare can control.

I think it’s already like that, when I am in party chat I can hear the player voices from the game, I don’t know if I changed an option in the settings but probably

I feel like the fact that PC players can hear and be heard in and out of party chat is a unintended glitch or oversight; not a feature
Buy a smartphone, use VoIP app. You are not a hacker if you do so.

Just curious, how is microsoft not breaking the privacy setting with PC's users? They are using xbox game chat too.
As it stands PC users can and do use both at the same time without having to toggle between the two.
we use discort most of us dont even use the xbox app if we did not need it for the game we would not even touch it

Ok, so use discord instead of game chat and I'll be able to hear both? Thanksthats not how it works, on pc you have ability to use push to talk so even if you do talk people in game cannot hear you only people on discort

The short answer is it doesn't lol. I and my buddy spent a good 2 hours messing with mscedit, cmd prompt, and others to try to get their tunnel adapter terodo and for the xbox app to show us as connected . after all that I'm still showing as moderate NAT. The privacy things just make it harder to connect with people.
Also I would love for people to be able to hear more in general and if they made the speaking trumpet output as a locational sound not a voice option that would solve the issues right there.
