So while doing some Gold Hoarder Voyages I thought i'd check up on Old Salts Atol and see if there was anything interesting there and upon inspecting the shipwreckage i notice how it seemed rather different to a Gallion, it seemed a bit shorter, sleeker and overall different, this could be simply because it's just that, a shipwreck model but it's also different from all the other stuff I've seen or at least properly looked at, for exmple the captains cabin is much smaller than let's say a galleons, and the bottom deck stairway has more space between it and the walls, if you head over to Old Salts Atol you'll see for yourself, could it be the broken model of our upcoming new ship, the brigantine?
Brigantine Shipwreck Found? Nope
It is possible. I did a survey of the island a while back and made a post about it here. The first picture has the vessel in question in the background.
But in looking at the picture, it looks no different than a half buried galleon. It is hard to tell though since it is buried under the sand. I don't know if they even have the assets made for the brig in game yet.
I looked into this a bit more - so I thought I'd also check out the shipwreck at the centre of Thieves Haven to see if there'd be any similarities and to my surprise there was, however they may both look like a galleon on the outside but when I took a look on the inside it had three levels inside of it, much more than a galleons 2 levels, so obviously this was a different type of ship, possibly even a Man O' War if you take a look at the size of it!

Don't think there's anything particularly special about the sunken shipwrecks since the captains cabin is always the same, all of them are just generally the same, but the ones with noticeable differences so far that I've found are on Old Salts Atol and Thieves Haven, due to one having a smaller, compact captains cabin - which is the one on Old Salts, can't tell how many masts there were because there's no trace of them at all, sounds fishy if you ask me.
The one on Thieves Haven has a singular mast what looks like it held three sails, but the interesting thing is the inside, how it had three levels, it looks a bit beefier than a galleon too, but it's all just speculation.
@DrBullhammer Yeah I noticed that too, actually that was one of my first thoughts while inside the cabin, I think it'd be safe to say it's just a regular galleon then, I've been there a few times but never really looked at the wreck properly.
BUT ... there is still hope, the Thieves Haven wreck!
It's something to talk about I suppose ahaha.
@DrBullhammer but the fact that it's being built could be foreshadowing the fact that a Man o' war is in the Works that doesn't eliminate the fact that it has three levels!
