I've recently found the money list but I was curious if there was a list of the amount of XP you get for each item.
I'm on the final stretch to Leg for OOS and GH (50 Merch already) and I am just curious to know what I'm looking at XP wise.
Is there a list of XP amounts for each item?

What items are you talking about?
You mean are you looking for a list that shows how much XP you get for each type of chest/skull/etc?
To my knowledge, no. It isnt really measured in XP points per say, as amount of rep received, which shrinks as the levels get higher.Example:
Cast - 50xp
Sea - 100xp
Maraude - 150xp
Cappy - 200 xp
Fort - 250xpA list. Like that.
I actually thought you meant the new items the bilge lads sell, cos I need to know about that, 30 rat $ is quite a lot, and looking at the gold exchange value I'm worried it won't even touch lvl 47 merchant, but I'm sooooooooo sick of the merch grind, I'm desperate to get back to my Skelly murdering ways!

Merchant grind got me where I am. I am 50 Merchant. And I've barely touched the other two and I am 45 and about 40 with them. Merchants and wrecks and Island shopping is priceless (until they removed the beach items for a while)
@ant-heuser-kush I appreciate the word there. There was recently a thread that showed the exact price range of all items in gold. Between x and y amount. I was looking to see if there was something like that. This is NOT the list but it is similar and I am sharing it as an example.

@reedski I was thinking the same thing, has anyone bought the bilge rat letters of accommodation? Do they give a significant xp bump?
@edemardil I believe XP is relevant to the amount an item sells for. More money = more XP for an item.

I think this too. XP is directly tied to gold value.
@edemardil see, I'm the opposite, did OoS when I had a crew and a mix of OoS and GH when I was solo Slooping, never touched merchant (except my first exploratory voyage) till I was already 39/42/34 and I thought I should try to play catch up now I'm 50/50/46 and I'm nearly 47, and I just want it over, I hate it, I really thought these rat $'s might have been the answer, would have gladly paid real £'s for them too

@edemardil Everyone I know who has 50 in any trading company turned in anywhere between 900 and 1000 items. That's how I measure my experience. I'm almost 38 and turned in about 350 chests and since 42 to 50 is like 1 to 42, having around 300-400 chests seems about right.
Pretty much.
50/50/50 for me ended up being around a ballpark of 850/850/1000-ish mostly doing gold animals exclusively towards the end.
@supriseautopsy I did wasn't worth a penny - im 44 going into 45 on Merchant and it went up tiny little bit of the line ( DONT WASTE YOUR COINS ON REP)
