Did they change the long hair model?

I hope that Rare will undo that change...

They changed every long hair model in the game as far as I can tell. It appears to be an intentional change. It makes the hair models look bugged in my opinion, though.

I agree about not being a fan of this change. All the longer hair models look awful to varying degrees with the Black Dog coat now, especially the Sovereign Hair option with all the big curls that get flattened to fit inside coat collars.

The hair only changes when you wear a jacket. With a jacket on, it tucks the hair into the collar. It is an intentional change that seems to have been left out of the patch notes for some reason.

It's okay, but I'd rather it be optional or have it apply only to certain long hair styles as it can be rather strange looking in my opinion, and some hairstyles like the Sovereign Hair just don't look right with the hair-tucking feature enabled.

I thought I was going crazy when I noticed this yesterday.
It’s the only hair that I liked on my pirate and now it looks awful.
He looks like he has little girly curls now. 🙁

@quarbani yes it does... Changing hairstyles when everybody got used to them is not a good idea. It completely ruined my gameplay experience as I can not stand my pirate with the "long hair" behind the collar or with a different hairstyle. Do you guys think Rare will bring the old hairstyles back?

@symbiosis519 as much as I agree and would like the chance to change up my pirate's bodytype/face at least hair is something we can change (except for colour)

I get you though, if you can only find one hairstyle that looks good on your pirate and they change that then it does make you wonder how it would look on a different character.

I know what you mean about the hair clipping through clothes but that didn’t bother me that much. I just picked a jacket that didn’t do it as much.

I haven't noticed anything, its always clipped through a bit.

Unfortunate. I hope they can alter it to still hang outside of the collar, even if they try to improve it again, in regards to clipping.
I'd rather a bit of clipping, if that is the cost of keeping hair flowing outside of the collar. Tucking it all in just doesn't look right.
It's a problem I already had, before this change, with a few hairstyles and hats. Some of the hair styles already got tucked in too much, for my liking, but the generic long hair didn't. Now, it's getting tucked in by the coats.
We needs our long hair, flowing wild! ;D

I actually found one jacket that still keeps the long hair from before they changed it. Ruffian sea dog
