ship suggestions

    ive got a few suggestions in building ships and customizing them more

    we all know how it feels to come from a battle and see all he ungly scars along your nice painted boat so what I suggest is having the the ship store restoreing your boat removing all the holes and planks " at a price of course" but well worth it to have a fresh restored boat with out the need to skuttle and lose your stock of balls, planks, and bananas

    different cannon ammo :
    buying different cannons offer different cannon shots..
    chain shots: to tear open or beak the sails of a boat will slow them down allowing players to board easier because the wont have to sneak on to hit the anchor theyl jsut be put to a stop till the player repairs their mast which will take more wood

    Heat shots: like the normal cannon balls but super red hot heated they have a double pentration strike going through one side of the ships and out the other leaving 2 holes rather than 1.. not very strong if the shot hits the water it turns in to a normal canan shot

    volley shots: heavy than normal cannonballs these need to be aimed higher and in mid air they pop and pepers the boat with little small cannon balls these will require the most skilled cannon gunnginers but a sucuccesful landing with one of these will be devastating to the enemy

    you can only unlock the different cannan fire from buying the cannon that it accosiats with....

    sloops will only be able to have 1 cannon so example if I want a heat shot cannon my cannons will only be able to shoot heat shot I can not have multiple cannons....galleon I was thinking it could have2 diferent cannons being it has 3 on each side to make it fair to other payers they can only have 2 of the 3 types avalible other wise galleons would have all the types and be very over powering
    any new ships coming to release should be 2 as well jsut to be fair that you have to let one out or e can simplely make it so all ships get one canon style

    @nathang86 No. Battle scars are a thing of beauty.
    It shows that the ship and crew have survived all that the seas can throw at them.

    @admiral-rrrsole correct matey. im also proud of my shipscars... and show other pirates to better not mess with me because my ship is some kind of unsinkable ^^

    well I like to keep my ship scar free ive won my fair share of battles and not taken a single hit but its an option for the store for people that wana have a clean ship belly with out all the weak planks because believe it or not the boards are weak spots when your sailing in rough water they pop open

    what do you think about having diferent cannons and different cannon shots to benefit yoru pirateing style... are you a disant volley shooter that likes to pepper from a range... are you an up close cannon fire blowing holes in the boats with hot shots.. or are you a crippling pirate that stops yoru enemy to board and rench them in cuttless pain

    @winterfall8870 Yep. I know if I saw another ship in the same condition as pictured above I would have second thoughts about engaging in battle.

    We only manage two screenshots of her ahem "good" side after my helmsman ran aground and I took it as an opportunity get it on film. lol As usual, I was videoing the game session.
    We all proudly admit the Port side barely had any paint at all. :o)

    Yeah both "heat shots" and "volley shots" sound cool. I'd be in to it.

    the chain shots would not be damaging the boat to sink but more or less crippling the boat from moving allowing some one to board , and plunder

    @nathang86 They could have "heat" cannon balls red and "volley" cannon balls yellow or something.

    Perhaps not bought (although I don't mind, I have well over a million gold) so new comers can randomly find them too.

    @nathang86 but the chain cannons wont work... imagine youre in a battle, your sails get destroyed and the other ship scuttled... how you get to the next outpost?

    @nathang86 Rather than "chain" cannons, just make all sails vulnerable to damages by any means, cannon balls, bullets, pellets, sword and dagger slashes.

    and color coating them would not look good maybe having a style nuzzle ont he end lions dragons sharks... any animal that would make sense for the cannon shot style...also possibleing getting gold bronze or silver cannons to help benefit your ships color sequnce

    @admiral-rrrsole I mentioned this it would take more wood but you can repair the sail it would jsut take longer to fix which means the enemy has time to get on you before you get a chance to repair

    @nathang86 Sorry mate, I should have been more specific.

    I meant cannon balls of varying colors to represent their type.
    Same cannons to project all types of cannon balls. Which is what I thought you meant.

    To have it any other way would not only look bad but it would mean wasted cannons when you don't have the correct balls for them. :o)

    with the cursed sails update there will be cursed cannonballs... making the ship heavier or let the crew start to dance ^^

    @admiral-rrrsole you mean colloring the BARRELS would make since the red barrels change to GREEN , BLUE or WHITE... we already have a yellow barrel for bananas

    @nathang86 but when it fires it will have to come out of the cannon like RED hot shot ….. or a spinning chain.... or a yellow ball that pops and fireworks skater small balls down

    @nathang86 Not only the balls colored but the smoke (from the cannon barrel) can also be colored.
    That would look cool.

    @admiral-rrrsole I was just thinking the cannon could look differnet but the canna ammo ammo you carry would eb all the same so they didn't have to do to much amination work on having different ammo slots all cannons use the same ammo jsut when they fire they fire different

    because they would have to make it so when you pick up cannon ammo you have to pick up the different style balls which would be a huge amination hassel

    No, it wouldn't. Same style, just different colours.
