Remove aimbot from skeletons

  • It's ridiculously OP. Especially when you get multiple of them spawning at a time.

    • It is unfair if we can't see the skeletons through the thick vegetation but yet somehow they can still hit us as if there is nothing between us.
    • It's unbelievable if they can hit you on the apex of the dash jump attack over their heads.
    • It's buggy that their bullets can sometimes go through walls.

    Edit: I am talking about skeletons with blunderbusses and flintlocks. Please don't nerf skeletons' cannon accuracy again and call it an accuracy nerf (it wasn't that bad to begin with!!!)

    Edit 2: How is it fair that they have unlimited ammunition while we're stuck with 5 bullets per gun? I say once a skeleton fires 5 bullets they go melee with their hands.

    Edit 3: Rare are working on skeleton's accuracy with pistol and blunderbuss for next week's (week 26) patch.

  • @ser-pineapples They can even shoot through the ship :( When I'm just about to eat a banana from the barrel it seems a bit unfair.

    This, I kinda like hard skeletons, I understand why a lot don’t however. So for me I’d prefer to keep the aim otherwise they’d be so easy to cheese.

    What I don’t like is getting shot through a rock I’m using as cover to cronch, or climbing up the ladder on the opposite side of the ship from the threat and get blasted.

    Instead of nerfing aim, could we randomize the mix better? Instead of all blunderbuss or all pistols or all melee, an even mix of all three might help balance the OP firing squads of deadly aim and rage.

  • I did notice they nerfed them a bit. The random spawns rarely have guns now, before it was a nightmare. The souls missions are still tough to solo so using your cannon and leading them back to ship is helpful. I'm thinking if on sloop they cut the skeleton crew by 2 would help balance that out, or 1 less wave.

    But to be fair I agree with this they should have the possibility to reload tho (like go to an ammo box) to make them more lively

  • I agree with all of this. It’s absolutely insane that skeletons have such great aim. I strongly agree the skeletons shouldn’t have unlimited ammo they should have to switch after 5 shots. But the aim, the aim is insane. How can they see through heavy brush, they don’t have eyes to begin with.
