Very much, yes. A lot of yes. The only speculation is that the Brig "is the 3-man ship". If it falls into the category of the other two ships, it'll man 3 OR 4 pirates.
This will add a game-changer, and fix crew issues as well. Sometimes my group can't find a 4th player on offdays, so now there's a ship for every size!
@weepaperboats I imagine it'll be 1-3 players. Similar to sloop being 1-2, and galleon 1(if you're a glutton for punishment)-4.
And same, I usually play a duo sloop, and we have one other friend join from time to time, so the Galleon is ok, but a little much for 3. Brigantine will be perfect.

@weepaperboats I'd like to see a true 1 man ship. Like a smaller sloop that has no cannons but can outrun everything. Would be perfect for solo pve people
