So I was informed by my brother who was taking part in a voyage. The crew he was sailing with were rather odd. One was AFK and the other just spawned in then straight out. He was being attacked by the Kraken when he noticed in the distance another ship on the horizon also being attacked by the tentacles of the Kraken. Has anyone else seen this experience before?

No, but I was sailing with friends on a galleon when a sloop decided to engage us... And then the kraken attacked as the first shots were fired. We were sure we would go down, but the kraken attacked the sloop and ignored our galleon! We escaped both as the sloop had to fend off the kraken, sinking not long after escaping the tentacles. Kraken remained in effect but we got well and clear of that area.
