I was on the island The Crooked Masts I parked my sloop out the way playing solo. when I got my treasure chest only to look back at my ship to see another sloop shooting the c**p out of it. I dropped my chest to run to defend my ship but doing so I got bitten by a snake blinded then killed by 2 skeletons and my ship was sunk before I could spawn back in.
So Frustrating last night I admit I raged quit
@evil-wolf-snipe Forgive me, but I chuckled. That is a comedic level of unfortunate events. It could only have been worse if you tried to shoot a skeleton and accidentally blew up a gunpowder barrel.

@evil-wolf-snipe if it makes ye feel any better... I was leaving a shipwreck and I was so close to Sanctuary outpost with a galleon chasing me.. I thought I could make it there and turn in me booty.. they caught up to me right before the dock.. all me Plunder was taken..
It happens it’s ok.

Trust me once I finished losing my s**t I calmed down and laughed about it afterwards and posted on here so you can all laugh with me.

That's unfortunate...
If you raged quit because you were doing a fort against a very stubborn and bad ship who you already had sunk 3x then the game lagged and froze your screen. You were forced to close the game to try to rejoin your other 2 members on the galleon but the game didn't allow that during more than 5minutes. They struggled to the 2 of them to keep the ship safe. But when you finally are allowed to join, you lose your ship and the full barrels supplies you had with you. Like happened to me last night...
That was a acceptable reason to rage quit, I think...
Being attacked by other ship, get bitten by snakes and killed by skeletons it's a normal thing to happen.. well. All the same time is a bit unfortunate, I agree..
But it happens.. were your treasures that valuable to makes you become angry with the game?Try it again. Maybe you'll find a better loot next time and you'll be lucky..

Like I did yesterday.. after those events I mentioned before. I was able to join my crew again. With a new ship and less on supplies, we got back on the fight. To win over them again and over the fort. 😉
@nunoazuldimeter it may be tough sometimes to infer tone in the post, but the original poster was sharing the story as a funny bit of humor amidst a very bad streak of luck. He wasn't really done with the game.

I sailed from Golden sands outpost all the way down there climbed to the top of the island spent 20 minutes looking for a chest that turned out to be a blasted Castaway's Chest im a level 30 Gold hoarder and get 1 map with a stupid chest.
I dig it up to sell it so im not too happy I went all that way for nothing. saw my ship under attack by another sloop tripped over the blasted snake, then got blinded then skeletons spawned and killed me and I spawned back in just in time to see the mermaid as I sit in the water with no ship. I decided I dont want to play this no more im going to log into GTA and go on a killing spree to make myself feel better.

Ah, those snakes. I can't tell you the number of times I've been sword fighting skeletons at night, carefully lunging and retreating until I hear the fateful hiss.
Barely have time to say, "aw p**p", before my vision goes purple and I'm stumbling about, blindly flailing my sword at where I HOPE the skellies are.
I'm not the type of pirate to kill little animals, but I've shot a few snakes in my time. Slippery little devils.
