PC Players - Xbox app Question

  • So when I play SoT, using my Logitech headset I can use in-game voice chat perfectly. When using it with Discord it works fine.

The problem is that when I join a group and they use the Xbox chat, I blast static with no way to stop unless I pull the mic input. This only happens with the Xbox app. Any other PC users experiencing this?

  • Apparently it's a Logitech thing.

  • The Xbox app is mod edited. The mic is very loud in party chat, and since it doesn't have a mic sensitivity setting you need to turn that down in your Windows settings. Unfortunatly, this makes you very quiet in game chat, which also does not have a mic sensitivity setting.

  • There are so many things about the Xbox App that need tweaking, that is just one of them. It could certainly do with a mic volume control within the app itself, like Discord has.

  • @braxkedren I had this exact issue with my turtle beach headset.

I have since switched and my new one doesn't have that problem. I still prefer my old one though lol.

Ahh, well I have those VModa headset and boom mic system supposedly coming from a competition. Hopefully those fix this issue.
